This blog seeks to educate the public on what happens in Parliament in general and the law-making process in particular. It is also a space to engage on parliamentary processes with the aim of questioning procedures so as to foster reforms in the legislature.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

SALEM LOROT is a Legal Counsel at the National Assembly of Kenya. He holds a post-graduate diploma in law from Kenya School of Law and LL.B from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa. He is a Legislative Drafter. He holds a certificate in Legislative Drafting from the Royal Institute of Public Administration (RIPA), London. He is a Member of the Commonwealth Association of Legislative Counsel (CALC), Pan African Lawyers Union (PALU) and the Law Society of Kenya (LSK).
